With sculptural installation and mixed media, Julia brings awareness to conditions of humanity. Attention to journalism on topics of human conflict, marginalization and gender enable her to reiterate truths through inaudible methods. When words falter, she uses art to further awareness of what is true in our world and of those in it.

Julia currently lives and works in Baltimore, Maryland. She previously studied Art Education at Gordon College in Massachusetts and taught art to youth in settings on the North Shore and in Boston's South End. Julia's work has shown in the greater Boston area, in southeastern Pennsylvania and now Baltimore City.
