Spending time in nature always provides fresh perspective. On a bright day at Huntley Meadows, I took a photo of this view. The vast sky and marsh were stunning and I knew it would make a powerful painting. The end result reminds me of “The Giant” painted by illustrator NC Wyeth. The painting is 30×40inches in size.
